Memory Support that is uniqueIf you have ever walked through our memory support neighborhood, The Garden, you have likely noticed some unique features. With colorful doors, activity spaces, and even a juke box in the middle of the dining room, this neighborhood is like no other. However, what really makes this neighborhood special is the people who work and care for the residents there every day.
As a coastal community, we are always asked about hurricane preparedness and how our community weathered Hurricane Harvey in 2017. To answer this question, we went to our Director of Physical Plant, Jeff Avenmarg. He joined the team when we opened our doors in 2015, making him one of the first employees at The Crossings where he has been a valuable member ever since.
You might be wondering- What exactly is outpatient rehabilitation? Outpatient rehab allows patients to come in for appointments with their physical, occupational, or speech therapist when they don’t need inpatient skilled nursing care. This also allows individuals to continue care with their therapists even after being discharged from inpatient rehab.
