The Crossings is owned and operated by Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), which serves about 2,500 Texans in a typical year in 13 senior living communities, including College Station, Bryan, Huntsville, Lufkin, Texarkana, Fort Worth, La Porte and League City, with a central office in The Woodlands. We serve seniors regardless of their nationality, race, gender, disability or religion — while we are proud of our Methodist heritage, you don’t need to be United Methodist or Christian or religious in any way to live with us. Applications are considered in the order received.

The Crossings is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with Methodist Retirement Communities where all leftover margin is reinvested back into the community which translates into well maintained buildings, excellent programming, and minimal annual rate increases. With a powerful mission in place, the standards set by our volunteer board is exceptionally high. As a result, we’re committed to maintaining The Crossings as the best senior living community in the Bay Area.
The Eden Alternative®
The Eden Alternative® is an international, non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to creating quality of life for Elders and their care partners, wherever they may live.
The Crossings is proud to have officially been certified in the Eden Alternative Registry, which honors those organizations deeply committed to transforming traditional models of care into person-directed approaches that put the individual first.
