Carol Mercer works as a Housekeeper at Oakview in La Porte where she met Grace Managbanag, a resident at the community. The two soon learned that they shared a passion for crochet. The pair generously combined their talents to complete 45 lap blankets to bless elders at The Haven at The Crossings, the community’s Skilled Nursing neighborhood in League City. “We are so thankful for our MRC family at Oakview! These lap blankets are extra special because they were made with love,” expressed Greg Rossi, Executive Director.
